Sábado, 24 de janeiro, recebemos o autor Mike Beil para a apresentação do seu livro Lantern Sam and the Blue Streak Bandits.

Sam é um gato detetive sarcástico e espirituoso que fala. Não tem muita paciência para humanos (a menos que lhe tragam sardinhas), mas quando o pequeno Henry não consegue encontrar a sua nova amiga, a exuberante Ellie, Sam é chamado a ajudar. Mas será que Ellie ainda está a bordo do comboio? Terá o vendedor, com o seu baú cheio de amostras, levado a menina às escondidas? E por que razão aquele casal continua a agir de forma tão suspeita?

On Saturday, January 24, at 3 p.m., join us for a special storytime session with author Mike Beil, who will present his book "Lantern Sam and the Blue Streak Bandits".

“Lantern Sam is a wise-cracking, sarcastic, talking cat who lives aboard the Lake Erie Shoreliner train — and one of the best detectives nobody knows about. He has little patience for humans (unless they bring sardines), but when ten-year-old traveler Henry can’t find his new friend, the exuberant Ellie, Sam is called in to help. Is Ellie still on the train? Did the salesman with a trunk full of samples take her off?"

After the reading, families are invited to take part in a creative workshop where imagination comes to life. Join us for an afternoon of stories, mystery, and creativity.
